A leading pharmaceutical company engaged The Aequitas Group to assist in creating a series of web based forms functioning as a call reporting tool for their field based Reimbursement Managers. Also, The Aequitas Group was asked to develop training for reimbursement teams and call center staff.

Strategy

The Aequitas Group developed a unique, reimbursement tailored, database-driven web tool allowing multiple authorized users to access it securely at any time from any location. By having the tool posted as a web application that worked off any platform, users were ensured that their call records were maintained in a database securely, accurately, and systematically.

Execution

The Aequitas Group was responsible for updating previously created background materials and training documents needed for the training of the new coverage, coding, and payment scenarios. A customized web collection tool was created for the client that minimized the workload and monotony of manual data entry process allowing the users to do their job efficiently and effectively, while ensuring the consistency and accuracy of the information being captured. Our assistance in creating new reimbursement training materials and payor analyses tools greatly enhanced and supported the client’s efforts to create a company-wide reimbursement standard. Our on-site support for call center representative training resulted in a well trained, dedicated hotline staff.
